Charity achieves nationally recognised standards with ISO 9001:2015 accreditation
Devon Freewheelers continually strives to achieve standards that are second to none; and a recent audit of the charity's quality management systems has led to an ISO 9001 : 2015.
The 'scope' of the accreditation applies to: 'The Transportation and Handling of Blood and Human Tissue for the purposes of Transplant.'
Daniel Lavery, Chief Executive, says: "Truly delighted with this, the charity is just progressing leaps and bounds at the moment. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the devon blood bike service may be the first blood bike service in the country to have achieved this. Well done to all concerned"
The charity have attached the 10yr certificate as a download for service users.
