Devon Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service (EVS)
Dedicated To Saving Lives!
The Devon Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service is a registered charity (registration number: 1180264) providing a vital and efficient service to the NHS. Our team of volunteer riders, drivers, call handlers, and fundraisers transport blood, medical samples, equipment, medication, and other essential supplies to hospitals, air ambulances, and other NHS establishments.

Our Mission
We ensure swift and reliable deliveries, supporting the NHS by transporting critical medical supplies for FREE:
- Blood, blood products, and pathology samples
- Medical equipment, medications, and other essential supplies
- Breast milk between hospitals
Our Headquarters
Our operations are centered at our main headquarters in Heathpark Industrial Estate, Honiton. This is where all rider despatches and calls are handled, ensuring a swift and reliable response to the needs of the NHS.

Our Shop
To support our mission, we operate a charity shop in Lace Walk Car Park just off Honiton High Street. All proceeds from the shop directly contribute to funding our operations and enabling us to continue saving lives.

Founded
The inception of the Devon Freewheelers charity, a beacon of hope for those in need. With a mission to provide essential medical supplies and services to communities across the region, the charity embarked on its journey, driven by a spirit of compassion and dedication.
2013
New HQ Premises At Durham Way
2018
HQ Relocation To Gloucester Court
Another significant milestone for the Devon Freewheelers charity as it expanded its operations further and relocated to a new facility at Gloucester Court, Honiton. This allows for increased operational efficiency and the potential to expand its services to a wider area.

As a charity we rely on the support and generosity of donations from members of the public, corporate and club sponsorship. There are a number of different ways to donate; online or in person. You can set up a monthly Direct Debit or Standing Order with your bank.
