Devon Freewheelers Terms And Conditions Of Use

Welcome to the Devon Freewheelers Blood Bikes website. By accessing and using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

1. Information About Us

Devon Freewheelers is a registered charity providing a free, out-of-hours, emergency courier service to the NHS and other medical establishments in Devon. Our primary function is to transport blood, pathology samples, medication, and other urgent medical supplies.

2. Use of Website

This website is intended to provide information about our services and to facilitate donations from members of the public. The content of this website is for general information and use only and is subject to change without notice.

3. Donations

We rely on the generosity of the public to continue providing our vital services. Donations made through this website are processed securely. By making a donation, you confirm that you are legally entitled to do so. We are not responsible for errors in donation amounts entered by users.

All donations are considered gifts and are non-refundable, except in cases of clear error on our part. Please contact us directly if you believe a donation has been processed incorrectly.

For eligible UK taxpayers, we will automatically include your donation under the Gift Aid scheme (where eligible), which allows us to reclaim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you. By donating, you confirm you are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference to HM Revenue & Customs. To allow us to register your donation for Gift Aid, we require certain Personal Information (PI) outlined by HM Revenue & Customs which, if not submitted with your donation, will be requested. You can decline. You can also opt out of Gift Aid during the donation process, or by contacting us directly.

For donations without the required information, a registration will be requested using our dedicated online form at: devonfreewheelers.org.uk/get-involved/support-devon-freewheelers-blood-bikes/gift-aid/

All PI will be securely stored for accounting purposes in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations and Data Protection Act as outlined in our Privacy Policy: devonfreewheelers.org.uk/privacy-policy/
